Year In Review / 2023 Edition
2023 was a year of late starts and extended seasons. A record snowpack pushed the alpine running window into late July. The ski season that followed arrived abruptly in November after an unusually dry October.

Notable moments: the July traverse of Bloody Mountain on the first clear window. The Blue Moon lap at 14,000 feet in September. Three weeks in the desert before the first snow.
Total distance logged: 847 miles. Total vertical: 114,000 feet. Days in the field: 94. The numbers matter less than the places. Looking forward to 2024.
